Photographic documentation of ephemeral installation

"GHOSTS"" is a photographic record of a site-specific, ephemeral installation situated in the natural terrain of Lapithos, Cyprus. Created using clay, the work was conceived to exist temporarily—subject to the natural processes of decay and disappearance. The installation’s formal language drew directly from its environment, mimicking the textures, patterns, and quiet structures found in the surrounding landscape.
The artist's intervention was deliberately subtle, blurring the line between what is constructed and what is found. This intentional ambiguity emphasized the core philosophical underpinning of the work: the impermanence of all things. Set against the backdrop of Lapithos—a place shaped by both natural beauty and historical displacement—the piece became a meditation on transience, memory, and the passage of time.
By presenting the installation solely through its photographic remnants, "GHOSTS"  invites viewers to contemplate the limits of preservation and the poetic resonance of what is no longer present.
 
Geçici Enstalasyonun Fotoğrafik Belgelemesi
"HAYALETLER", Kıbrıs’ın Lapta tarihi bölgesinde yer alan site-specific, geçici bir enstalasyonun fotoğrafik kaydıdır. Kil kullanılarak yaratılan eser, geçici olarak var olması düşünülerek tasarlanmıştır—doğal çürüme ve kaybolma süreçlerine tabi olmuştur. Enstalasyonun biçimsel dili, çevresindeki manzarada bulunan dokuları, desenleri ve sessiz yapıları taklit ederek doğrudan çevresinden ilham almıştır.
Sanatçının müdahalesi kasıtlı olarak incelikliydi, inşa edilen ile bulunan arasında bir çizgi bulanıklaştırılmıştır. Bu kasıtlı belirsizlik, eserin temel felsefi temelini vurgulamıştır: tüm şeylerin geçiciliği. Lapithos’un doğal güzellikleri ve tarihi sürgünle şekillenen arka planında, eser geçicilik, hafıza ve zamanın geçişi üzerine bir düşünmeye dönüşmüştür.
Enstalasyonu yalnızca fotoğrafik kalıntıları aracılığıyla sunarak, "HAYALETLER" izleyicilere koruma sınırlarını ve artık var olmayanın şiirsel yankısını düşünmeleri için bir davet sunmaktadır.
